A few weeks ago we decided to take advantage of one of the few Saturday's that Nathan has actually been home, to do something fun together as a family. We took a trip to the Butterfly Pavillion. I have to admit...after having a lady yell at us in the parking lot (no one could find anywhere to park), trying to see the insects and displays while being mushed into a small building with a thousand people, and then realizing that my 4 year old is scared of butterflies (yes...scared), that it wasn't really my idea of fun. Nathan was the only one lucky enough to have a butterfly land on him (or in Evan's case unlucky). Hey...we tried!

At least the boys had fun playing in the plastic beehive!

Oh poor Evan :(. To bad you had to find out about that after you paid. Lindsay is so cute and her little hand in her hair is so precious.
My girls always want me to do their hair. However I don't excel in that area either, but I'm learning and you will too. I do the basic like simple braids and piggy tails. For now they are happy with that. I like your new back round it looks great!

You just never know with kids do you? We had a similar experience a few months ago at an aquarium. Alex lasted about 15 minutes and then was bored. Who would have thought that the most exciting part of the trip would be watching all the trucks on the way down. At least we try right? :)
