"Mother, I Love You"

On Mother's Day, Evan sang the primary song, "Mother, I Love You" with the primary during sacrament meeting. The song hasn't gotten out of his head since then. Today, he asked me to show him "the keys" so he could play it on the piano. I showed him and...believe it or not...he's a natural. Well, okay, he's been practicing for about 45 minutes straight but what devotion. I may just have a little piano player on my hands.

Manicured Lawn - May 10, 2008

A date to remember! This is the very first time Nathan has mowed our lawn. Okay, let me clarify; This is the very first time Nathan has been able to mow our very own lawn. Married almost 6 years - and now he's got another 6,000 more times to mow. Are you sure you're happy about this? It sure does look nice though!!

I'm Too Cool

Whether it be in the bath, while playing, or yes...even during a nap, Austin wears his sunglasses. Are some kids born with a certain "cool" factor?

WHAT? A family outing? Since I've been on bedrest, we haven't exactly gotten out much together as a family. We took the kids to a park that had a bike path, lake, and playground. We had so much fun playing, riding bikes, and eating our picnic lunch. Don't worry Austin, we'll do it again soon!

SOD!!! Need I say more?

Okay...so maybe I'll say a little more. THANK YOU Nathan and thank you dad for coming out to help us! You both work too hard.

These are the cool kids cruising the block. Nice pair of wheels!
The boys loved the snow. Well...I guess EVAN loved the snow. Austin wasn't so sure.

NEW BUNK BED

When I became pregnant (with our third - a girl), I was unable to lift Austin into his crib...so...we got a bunkbed for the boys. Can we say love at first sight!

Two Handsome Boys

Austin loves Evan's "big boy bed." It won't be too long before he will have one of his own.

At least Nathan got away once to the mountains to hit the slopes. The poor guy doesn't get to snowboard as much as he would like.

Evan started preschool November 15, 2007. He was so excited to ride the bus for the first time. Of course it only took him one ride to know that the BACK of the bus is the cool place to sit.
